His song always spoke of love with respect. I think it was a choice. He chose what he wanted to record. I think he made the right choice

Wishing a speedy and healing recovery to Emilio Navaira III and others involved
Yes accidents happen everyday but I always hate hearing about them when people are hurt. Read this on the Click 2 Houston news site. I hope all those who are still in the hospital will have a speedy recovery.
Singer-Songwriter Emilio Injured In Bus Crash
Famous Tejano Singer Hospitalized In Critical Condition
HOUSTON -- Emilio Navaira III, the Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter, was critically injured in a major bus crash in Houston Sunday, police said. The band's bus slammed into traffic barrels just after 5 a.m. on Interstate 610 northbound in the Houston suburb of Bellaire, west of downtown Houston, said Bellaire police Sgt. Daniel Kerr. Based on video from traffic cameras at the scene, previous news reports said three vehicles were involved. Kerr said only the bus was involved, however.Navaira, 45, was one of eight people injured in the crash, said Houston Assistant Fire Chief Omero Longoria. He was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition and receiving treatment in the intensive care unit, said hospital administrator Lisa Lagrone. Two others were transported to Memorial Hermann with less severe injuries, Longoria said. Both were from the bus, treated for minor injuries and released, Lagrone said. The other five were taken to Ben Taub Hospital, where two were listed in critical condition, Longoria said. Navaria's brother, Raul Navaria, was one of those injured in the crash -- he was discharged but remained at the hospital, awaiting the outcome of his brother's hospitalization. Emergency crews were still trying to remove the bus from the scene at midday and traffic was moving slowly, Kerr said. Navaria, known as Emilio to his fans, and his band Rio played at the Hullabaloo club Saturday.

Chambao
Not sure how I heard of this artist but I did a search and came across this song. I've listened to it 3 times now and would not be surprised if I find a way to purchase their album. I like the instruments, the music, the words (even though I don't understand the words).
The Wikipedia page for this artist states:
Chambao is a flamenco-electronic band originally from Málaga, Andalusia, Spain, known for a Flamenco Chill sound that fuses flamenco sounds and palos with electronic music. The name of the band is taken from an improvised form of beach tent that is constructed as a means of sheltering from the wind and sun.

Tokyo Jihen
While trying to see if there was a Senka video I did come across this one from Tokyo Jihen on Youtube. I've liked Tokyo Jihen since Shuraba. One listen to that song during the opening of a Japanese Drama and I was hooked. I played it over and over. Anyway here is the video for their song Senka Shoujo. I'm still looking to see if I can find Senka online. I really enjoy her CD.

Today I found out about Ken Hirai. He actually did a song used in a Meiji Fran commercial that I saw on Youtube which made me look for something else from him. At first I was wondering if he was going to sing the entire song in the pitch he started off with (I'm glad he didn't)So here you go - Ken Hirai singing Kimi wa Su-te-ki (君はス・テ・キ♡)

Dr. Dog
No, this is not the name of a veterinarian. It's not the name of some type of sell ,though I do think the band would like if you bought their newest compilation album "Passed Away, Vol. 1" which was released 2 days ago on March 4th. The band, Dr. Dog began in 1999,localized in Philadelphia. Their first album "The Psychedelic Swamp" was a self-produced work and now 8 years later they released 4 original albums, 1 EP, and 1 compilation album. Most were produced by Park the Van which was established with Dr.Dog's "Easy Beat" release in 2004.
I,myself just heard of the band less than 48 hours ago. With the laid back mood in their music The group also seems to know how to have an original feel to themselves which always makes me a fan of a band. From their 't' nicknames each member has such as "Taxi" and "Text" to their music the group has a unique almost rustic feel. So what's next for these psychedelic musicians? after a show in Clewiston,Florida at the Langerado Music Festival on March 8th they will be off to shows in Alabama then Louisiana. Check out their site for more shows and details:
