A Youtube Singer

For a while I have listened to a few singers on Youtube. One,yuki8mitch
,I first found while trying to find the video for an Erika Sawajiri song. She usually sings to Japanese songs but has done English too. I've always liked this song. Always. I believe I always will. So glad I came across it online. Had to stop and listen to it which makes it my First Song of the Day. Not sure if it is just Paul McCartney or if it was him and Wings. The video looks like it was with Wings.

Yesterday's First Song was Rag Fair but I can't translate the title and haven't been able to find it on line. It has the #7 and the #8 and I really like it. Bought the CD on a whim at a Japanese Bookstore - it was on clearance. I will find out how to upload the song so I can share

Yoshida Brothers & Monkey Majik: Change

I still haven't posted my First Songs for the last two days. I won't lie. I'm on a Yoshida Brothers high. I would definitely pay to see them again. It was just something about how their music made me feel. And it is great watching young men dedicated to an artform. They have my respect and admiration because you can tell they put the time in.

12/3/07: First Song of the Day: A Whole New World

I'm a subscriber to FalseVoice youtube videos which led me to today's first song of the day.

It features a young lady from the Philippines that I've been following for a bit. I believe she is 14 years old now and her name is Charice Pempengco. I do hope she gets a chance to be known more worldwide without people pushing her to be too "adult". In this clip she is singing with Korean singer KyuHyun

Today is the JLPT Test Day

The JLPT Test is given once a year. There are 4 levels. While I'm not taking the JLPT test today (It would be a waste of money for me but I've decided I am going to try for next year) I do know a few people who are heading out to USC and other venues (I think there about 7-8 sites across the USA).

Here is a dedication for them - to encourage them and to be completely honest because I just love Utada Hikaru. Really I do but I guess if you saw our myspace page you probably figured that out

Amy Grant

Wow it is amazing to me how one thing leads to another. Watching Oprah (yep I do it from time to time) one of her guests were Amy Grant which reminded me how I use to love an Amy Grant song in my younger years. I even bought her album (yep they were making them then) just because of this song.

So I thought I would see if I could find it on Youtube and I DID! Boy this brings back memories for me
